Elkhorn Valley Packing is expanding! Construction is underway in Harper, Kansas for the new fabrication plant and cold storage warehouse. The fabrication plant will be bigger and better, able to process more cattle than in the Dodge plant, and in a more streamlined fashion. The cold storage will allow Elkhorn Valley Packing to do all of its warehousing in-house, leading to faster shipping and improved customer service. The new plant is expected to open in late April.
